I am still growing in my lettering and in how the Lord can use it for different things. Below you will find a couple of different pieces from things I have done over the last several years. I also use my lettering for ministry, as you can see on my “Set Design” page with my “Goodbye Sunday” banner.

Signs made for a friend’s wedding.

This is a piece I did for a birthday party. I copied the invitation with the monsters and with the numbers so that everything went together really nicely for the client.

These two signs were made to go into the prayer room at our church. The first photo I painted and the second is a chalkboard that we can easily switch out and use for other ministry opportunities.

Just this year I picked up Bible Journaling, I am still new and still trying new things. But I have helped a couple of our ladies teach a class and teach different techniques to help women to see their Bible in a creative way and to see Journaling as a form of worship.

In the Elementary Ministry Lobby, which you see the entire “lobby” space below, I have a chalkboard hanging right in the center. On this chalkboard, I am able to use my calligraphy skills to give information or to put up quotes and season things.

The Calligraphy Owl

The Calligraphy Owl is a new endeavor for me, I wanted to try to begin a small business where I can create calligraphy work for friends, family, and others. In the photos below you will also see the business logo.

I began this “small business” around Christmas and made ornaments for friends and family. The ornaments that say “Faithville” were created as gifts for our Children’s Ministry volunteers, “Faithville” is the title of our Children’s Ministry area.

There are also other digital calligraphy and cartooning that I have been working on as well. This is done through Procreate on the iPad.
